I'm a fully insured handyman. I stay within the legal limits of my license and what my policy allows, which means I only work with existing wiring. I don't do rough-ins, new circuits, or roofing for customers like I do on my own properties. You can see exactly what my policy covers and excludes here.
Because I've built the big stuff, I'm definitely qualified to do the small stuff. Whether I'm swapping an old outlet for a smart one, patching drywall, or hanging a ceiling fan, I treat a 2-hour repair with the same respect as a full kitchen finish. Most importantly, I do it right.
